The Steward of Christian Education is responsible for seeing that the following vision is carried out with respect to Christian Education.  The Growing Valley Baptist Church believes the goal of Christian Education is to provide transformative instruction from the word of God for the following purposes:

1) Proper Understanding of God’s word 

(2 Tim 2:15; Proverbs 4:7)

2) Personal Spiritual Growth through Relationship with Christ and others 

(Colossians 1:10; 1 Peter 2:2; Ephesians 4:11-16)

3) Power for living as witnesses for Christ in this age 

(Mt 28:18-20; Romans 8; Acts 1:8; Romans 12:1-2)
